Is A Male Bearded Dragon Better Or A Female ?
Im just wondering what gender is better because I’m about to get one.
Here Are Some Questions:
1. Where should I buy my bearded dragon – pet shop or breeder ?
2. Around how much is a 55 gallon tank ?
3. Is it ok to buy reptiles from petsmart ?
4. Are bearded dragons good beginner reptile ? If not , what is the best beginner reptile and why ?
5. Do bearded dragons smell bad ?
6. Does anybody know a cheap place to buy aquariums in Toronto ?
By the way what is better
Uromastyx or Bearded Dragon ?
I would get a 75 personally, I have 2 in a 75 and it is a good size. Males get larger than females but the personallity is the same in my opinion. you can find a 55 gallon tank in the states with a stand for around $100 depending on what state you live in. I live in Ohio. Petsmart is a decent place to buy them from as long as they are taking good care of them. I work for Petsmart in Columbus,Ohio and I had to personally install a full spectrum light in their habitat. Ask them if they have a UVB bulb in their habitats, als if they feed them vegetables, crickets, and mealworms, and how often they eat. Bearded dragons do not smell bad, and they are not considered good beginner reptiles because of the care they need, they need special lighting, a lot of heat, and a large aquarium. If you want a good starter reptile get a leopard Gecko. They only require a minium of a 20 long aquarium, heat light, fine grain sand (if they are old enough), and a heat light.
