Bearded Dragon Central
My central bearded dragon lizard wont eat?

I have a little baby lizard and it wont eat it has little crickets in its enclosure but she wont eat them.

Lizardmo is on the right track. Try a warm water soak first to see if she needs to poop. Sometimes they get constipated and need the soak to pass the waste. Is she shedding? Most do not eat well when they shed. Do you give her more than crickets? Does she get greens like kale, collard, mustard, or turnip greens? Do you have a UVB light to help digest the nutrients? Do you give her calcium powder on her veggies? If she is not getting better in a day or so, and none of these are the problem, see the vet.

The bearded dragon got its name from the spiky flap of skin around its snout. The flap puffs up like a bristly beard when the bearded dragon feels threatened. But the bearded dragon is not nearly as ferocious as it, looks, preferring to run away rather than get into a fight. Natives of the Australian interior, these lizards are popular pets.
