Children can dress up in cartoon characters. They can dress up as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. They can also dress up as Tom and Jerry. These costumes need clothes that will make them look like animals. This needs a full dress like a pant shirt and a mask or an attached face to the dress. Children like the movies Harry Potter, Shrek and Jurassic Park. For Jurassic Park, the children will have to dress up as a dragon. They can identify with the characters and would like to wear costumes which make them look like these characters. Pokeman and Raggedy Ann are other such television shows that children identify with. Children may come with their own ideas based on TV or movie themes. This will give them the freedom to help in choosing the costumes.

Adults also like to dress up and scare everyone during Halloween. This can be done by donning clothes from movies such as Dracula, Friday the Thirteenth, A nightmare on Elmstreet and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. They can also dress up in a sexy manner imitating any of their favorite characters from TV or the movies.

All these can be costumes can be ordered from the shops or by created at home with the material available. People can also go to the cloth shop and the crafts store and check out what is available. Many accessories such masks, beards, false hair, false teeth etc. can be got from stores. All this can improve the effect of the costume worn by a person.

It will definitely be fun when people cannot recognize you in the costume and you also get to be the best dressed at the Halloween party.
