Bearded Dragon Eating Fish
HELP MY FISHY he is sick?

Ok so i went to the petstore a month ago and i hada 20 dollar bill from my kristmas present. I wanted to by my self a igguanna to keep in my old bearded dragons cage i even had the sand and my mom said i could keep crickets to feed it! anyways the petstore owned toold me he was sold out becase to many othr kids wanted iguanga for kristmas, so i looked around the store and they had a pretty fish, and i asked the petstore person i wanted it, he told me it was an oscar fish i asked him if it could live in my old goldfishes bowl and he said it was fine i asked him what food and he told me, that if i came every week he would give me the ded feeder goldfishs for him to eat So a month now my fish is laying on the bottom moving, I can only ride my bike to the animal doctor butt i habve no more monies

sorry to tell ya but you got a bum deal and some people who don’t know what they’re talking about. First an oscar will grow very large and a goldfish bowl is WAY TOO SMALL!!! Second, goldfish are not good food because they often carry parasite and other diseases. If at all possible get your oscar out of the bowl and into a bigger tank with a filter and heater. If you can’t do this see if someone you know with a larger tank can adopt him for a while until you can get one (55 gallon minimum if you’re gonna buy one and alot of advice from an experienced aquarist). Feed him pellets this will work for now to sustain him stop with the goldfish. He is either over stressed from the small space or he caught something from the goldfish.
