baby bearded dragon eats mealworm beetles?

My 1 and a half month old baby bearded dragon once ate about 3 beetles and now he wont eat the crickets nor vegetables any more…I tried giving him crickets and no more beetles but its now been 3 days and only 1 of the 10 crickets is gone…what should I do
the video doesnt work…

Your little guy is probably full. Don’t panic. The can go for a couple of days without eating and not have any problems, that is the beauty of being exothermic (cold blooded) the get the majority of the energy for everyday life from the sun and the environment, they mostly eat for growth. Don’t feed him the beetles all the time, more like a treat once every couple of weeks they aren’t as good for them, but they won’t harm your little one is small doses. At his age I would be surprised if he ate any veggies, they normally don’t start eating them until about 6 months old. Don’t worry, he’ll eat when he gets hungry. I would give him crickets, and a variety or worms(meal, super, wax, butter, silk, goliath–any combo, qty to be determined by size or dragon & worm)

The bearded dragon got its name from the spiky flap of skin around its snout. The flap puffs up like a bristly beard when the bearded dragon feels threatened. But the bearded dragon is not nearly as ferocious as it, looks, preferring to run away rather than get into a fight. Natives of the Australian interior, these lizards are popular pets.
