where can i buy a cheap hovabator/incubator for my bearded dragons eggs.?
even a homemade one will do. I live in the united kingdom, anyone help?
-put the eggs into a clear plastic shoebox filled halfway with moist vermiculite.
-turn the eggs so that the pinkish-red embryo was facing up and sunk them into the vermiculite about halfway.
-The shoebox (with holes in the lid) ( you need a lid because the babies might jump out),
-you can use a heat lamp with thermometer on each side of the box, temps between 82 to 84 are fine. The temperature varies up and down only about half a degree. And so they sit.
-If an egg starts to mold, remove it.
-they should look healthy and firm.
-Newly hatched dragons are left in the incubator for a period of 24 hours to allow the yolksac to be absorbed. Young bearded dragons will usually start to feed within 72 hours of hatching.
hatching will take about 65 to 75 days.

Bearded Dragon : 0823964124 $1.97 The bearded dragon got its name from the spiky flap of skin around its snout. The flap puffs up like a bristly beard when the bearded dragon feels threatened. But the bearded dragon is not nearly as ferocious as it, looks, preferring to run away rather than get into a fight. Natives of the Australian interior, these lizards are popular pets. |
