my male bearded dragon got his feet munched after knocking up my female. what meds should i use?
i failed to seperate them, so there were pretty bad results. ive stopped the bleeding, but hes still in pretty bad shape. its only his feet and he is still walking as needed. however, hes not eating normally. he still eats crickets, but wont eat his preffered greens. please repond asap.
When body parts bleed, a trip to the vet is pretty much unavoidable. That is one of the few times that most of the herp vets I’ve worked with will suggest an immediate trip to the office.
If it is still bleeding at this point, a little cornstartch will help stop it, but you really need to see a vet.
Additionally, at this point, separate enclosures would be a good idea before any additional injuries occur.

Bearded Dragon : 0823964124 $1.97 The bearded dragon got its name from the spiky flap of skin around its snout. The flap puffs up like a bristly beard when the bearded dragon feels threatened. But the bearded dragon is not nearly as ferocious as it, looks, preferring to run away rather than get into a fight. Natives of the Australian interior, these lizards are popular pets. |
