Bearded Dragon Manuals
My bearded dragon is 6 months old, and he is sleeping in is cave a lot.?

Everything is right according to manuals, and I have had him checked by 3 vets for bacteria or parasites. And none of them could find anything. He eats a lot….sometimes like 15-20 crickets a day. He’s not impacted….poops very regular. And he eats lots of greens. I have the UVA UVB 100 watt bulb and the heat lamp. He has a warm side of the cage (which is the side he is burrowing in) and a cool side. he’s in a 20 gallon tank. Is this normal? He does come out at night, bask on his rock a lot and he loves to be held.
I only have once bearded dragon. I got him from a breeder, and he is definately a male. I took him to the vet to have him checked.

Is it have a roommate? Well how long have you had him? And where did you get him cuz i got one from at reptile store and they had it in a cage with the oppisite gender and they told my she waz 5 months and she got pregnat but your is a girl are you sure?

The bearded dragon got its name from the spiky flap of skin around its snout. The flap puffs up like a bristly beard when the bearded dragon feels threatened. But the bearded dragon is not nearly as ferocious as it, looks, preferring to run away rather than get into a fight. Natives of the Australian interior, these lizards are popular pets.
