(breeding)
the shop said they would buy the babies at £50 EACH
i told them that
they still havnt answerd
any ideas?
well i dunno how much that would be in america, but i would just recommend doing a LOT of research on how to breed properly and make sure you understand how many little beardies you will have running around. A lot of petstores take horrible care of their beardies so make sure that the store you will sell them to have healthy looking animals and correct temperatures. And if you do get a mate make sure that they dont stay in the same cage. The male will stress the female out and one will probably kill the other even if they seem to be getting along. You also need to make sure that the female is fat enough to be able to mate.
Once you have done a lot of research, just print out some pages of research you have done and explain to your parents that you are responsible enough and have enough knowledge about breeding to handle it. Tell them that you will be learning how to make your own money and you wont have to depend on them. Then maybe they will take it into consideration.
oh and repticzone.com has a lot of info about breeding.
They can answer any question you have more in depth.

Bearded Dragon Adult Pellet Food 10oz $2.75 Zoo Med’s Bearded Dragon Food is the only soft moist formula dragon food available! Bearded Dragon : 0823964124 $1.97 The bearded dragon got its name from the spiky flap of skin around its snout. The flap puffs up like a bristly beard when the bearded dragon feels threatened. But the bearded dragon is not nearly as ferocious as it, looks, preferring to run away rather than get into a fight. Natives of the Australian interior, these lizards are popular pets. |
