Is there anything bad to know about have a bearded dragon as a pet?
I am thinking about getting a bearded dragon as a pet. I wanted to know from others who own beardies if they have any complaints or warnings about them. From what I have read and researched I can’t find anything negative about them.
My only issue is that I didn’t start handling my Beardie old enough, and he got rather aggressive. D: But thats my bad! Now a problem I have heard other talk about is they like to poop in their water bowl…I however didn’t have this problem. Maybe there was something wrong with mine? 
Beardies are easy to care for. Just make sure you feed them a wide variety of foods, and get plenty of of light (UVA & UVB), and their diet isn’t devoid of calcium and minerals (this doesn’t mean drenching their food in calcium dust everyday…as this could cause more problems), and you should be set to go!
Oh and don’t forget. They can grow fast! So best to save your money and not waist it on getting a larger cage as they grow. Just get the larger cage from the start.
