Sand Fire / Inland bearded dragon?
Im intrested in getting a bearded dragon this Christmas .. And have some questions. Can they live in a 50 or 40 gallon tank without upgrading? Can I use UVA rather than UVB bulb? (Works with my turtles for the past 5 years) Can I give him fruit, vegstables (excuse my spelling) in one week and then buy crickets? Would a 100W bulb enough to heat? How much is the home / Sand Four bearded dragons? (infants) Reply if your a beard dragon expert.Thank you my own 1 man ball python 4 baby red ear sliders 25 Adult Red ear sliders (the Pond) and a 12-inch snapping turtle, if it helps.
40 Gallon tank is necessary for an adult dragon. You must provide UVA and UVB with Bearded Dragons. My Beardie seems not to think about not getting crickets everyday so I think you should be fine. The first and foremost need 2-3 light, 1 UV / white light, 2 UVB (Tube no Coil) Light, 3 Regular Household bulb to further heating, if required. Sand Fire Dragons will cost you a significant amount more than a regular single bearded dragon.
