Is it common for a Bearded Dragon to fall asleep on my hand/arm?
I just recently purchased my first beardie, and i have noticed that when i hold him…he will sometimes fall asleep on my arm..he seems to like to get in the crook of where my arm and torso sit together. Is this normal behavior?
perfectly fine – just don’t let them get too cold as this could also be a reason for appearing to be asleep.
My dragons love to sleep on my arm, its nice and warm and if they are held and supported properly then they are very happy and obviously they trust you. Well done

Bearded Dragon Behaviour?
Hi,
My bearded dragon has started to act very oddly. Normally he poos once a day, just recently he’s not. I know that sometimes they do not like to go in their vivs but normally he will be fine about that. I’m starting to wonder if he’s had too much protein in his diet from crickets and mealworms and that he might be constipated.
As well as this, he’s gained alot of weight just recently and i’m starting to get worried that it’s not just fat that’s growing. It could be just because he is bloated and that he’s puffing himself up a bit as he has always been a bit tubby.
Thanks for any suggestions.
I thought that i’d add what he eats.
5-6 Crickets (though since he’s not going every day i’ve narrowed it down to two-three).
6-8 Mealworms (again, narrowed down to 5)
A variety of vegetation.
On Sundays he doesn’t have any bugs.
Mondays he has a wax worm.
